Five hundred police officers and 300 soldiers
held drills along the Czech border with Austria on Wednesday as Prague mulled
reintroducing border checks in case of a wave of migrant arrivals.
A coach carrying 16 musicians from the Czech Philharmonic plunged over an embankment on the B7 road in Austria’s Weinviertel on Sunday afternoon. Four people were seriously injured in the accident, including the 38-year-old coach driver.
