Residents of Nickelsdorf in Burgenland are afraid to go into their gardens after a plague of wolf spiders - also known as South Russian tarantulas - descended on the small town.
A woman golfer got quite a shock while playing a round of golf at the Schloss Tillysburg golf course at St. Florian, near Linz, when she discovered a tarantula spider lurking near the fairway.
