The tournament runs from June 11th to July 19th, and matches will be shown at bars, restaurants, fan zones, municipal squares, sports grounds, cinemas and event venues across Austria.
But there is one important catch: due to the time difference with the host countries, some games will be shown at awkward hours in Austria, especially during the group stage. Because of that, not every public viewing will broadcast every match, so it’s worth checking directly with the venue before making plans.
Austria’s group-stage schedule includes Austria v Jordan at 6 am on June 17th (which the Mannschaft won), Argentina v Austria at 7 pm on June 22nd, and Algeria v Austria at 4 am on June 28th.
Here are some of the best public viewing options by province, with links to ORF’s full official lists.

What to check before you go
Public viewing in Austria can mean anything from a large fan zone to a bar showing selected matches, so don’t assume every venue will screen every game – or even that by “public” they mean “free”.
This is especially important for very early kick-offs. A 6 am or 4 am Austria match may not work for every location, even if that venue is on the public viewing list.
Before heading out, check the venue’s own website or social media for the exact matches being shown, whether you need to reserve, and whether there are entry rules, age limits or weather-related changes for outdoor screenings.
