Number of confirmed coronavirus cases exceeds 3,000 in Austria

The amount of people in Austria with confirmed cases of coronavirus crossed the 3,000 mark on Sunday morning, the Ministry of Health has announced.
Compared with figures from Saturday, this is an increase of 14 percent. There have been nine deaths across the country as a result of the virus.
There are now 3,026 coronavirus sufferers in Austria.
The majority of cases have been detected in the southern Austrian region of Tyrol, where there are 626 confirmed examples.
Upper Austria has 606 while there have been 422 in Lower Austria.
The total cases in the capital of Vienna stand at 369.
Austria has now carried out 21,368 tests - including 3000 on Saturday.
