Local media described the woman as having “a whole army of guardian angels” after she survived the fall from the motorway bridge in Twimberg, Carinthia.
The 19-year-old's fall was broken by several trees, which meant she did not hit the ground at full speed and only suffered some abrasions.
According to Österreich newspaper, after she landed the Austrian woman reportedly simply picked herself up and ran to a nearby group of houses asking for her parents.
A resident who worked out what had happened then drove the shaken but otherwise uninjured woman back to her home in Carinthia.
It follows an incident in May this year when a climber incredibly survived falling 800 metres down a mountain in Austria.
The 38-year-old survived falling down the side of Hoher Sonnblick mountain on the border between the states of Carinthia and Salzburg, but came away with some serious injuries to his face and legs.
