A driver who got out of his car to take a photograph of a waterfall swollen by heavy rains in Austria got an unexpected snap when his car rolled into a ravine.
The Dutch tourist was on holiday in Austria and travelling near the remote rural community of Raggal in the country's mountainous province of Vorarlberg when he spotted the waterfall.
Stopping the car alongside the river over the narrow ravine, he walked to the other side to take a picture of the waterfall and was then powerless to act when it rolled over the edge and down the slope.
The car which was wrecked after falling 10 metres had to be pulled out by firemen.
Neither the man nor his passenger who was walking towards the waterfall were hurt although police confirmed that the car was a complete write-off after the accident.
