Father took 12-year-old son on robbery tour
A 46-year-old man who took his 12-year-old son with him when he committed a string of thefts and break-ins in Upper Austria has been released from police custody.
The father and son team broke open numerous newspaper honesty boxes and also broke into cellars in Ried im Innkreis in December and January.
The Hungarian man and his son confessed to some of the break-ins and the boy now lives with his aunt, who has been given temporary custody of him.
The damage from the robberies and break-ins amounted to only a few hundred euros and the Ried im Innkreis prosecutor has ordered that the man can be released from custody.
