Two British drivers drove 25 kilometres (15.5 miles) the wrong way down an Austrian motorway including a 10-kilometre tunnel before being stopped, police said on Sunday.

The two men, aged 61 and 56, drove onto the wrong side of the A9 autobahn in southern Austria after filling up with fuel and drove through four tunnels in total. They tested negative for alcohol.
