Man photographs would-be burglars

Police in Vienna are looking for a man and a woman who tried to break into a house in Döbling but were caught in the act by the owner, who photographed the pair before they ran off.
Police said the suspects tried to break into the home in Vienna’s 19th district through a basement window on May 13th but were caught before they managed to get in. The quick-thinking home owner managed to get photos of the pair before they ran off.
The man and woman are not known to the police, who are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. Anyone with relevant information should contact state police on 01-31310-25800.
