Policeman accused of sleeping on duty

A high-ranking policeman in Carinthia could face investigation for allegedly spending his night duty in his private residence.
"We have received an anonymous complaint claiming the policeman has slept regularly during overtime," police spokesman Rainer Dionisio told the Kronen Zeitung on Tuesday.
The officer rejects the allegations.
The suspicion arose because his service car was regularly found parked in his residential district.
However, during the interrogation the officer had plausible explanations for his parking in this area.
The results of the investigation are as yet unknown.
