The accident occurred on the A22 highway just before 2 p.m. on Vienna's A22 highway, close to the Danube river.  Three people were seriously injured.

Two women aged 40 and 58 years, and a 30-year-old man were seriously injured, according to rescue spokesman Ronald Packert.  Ten people also suffered minor injuries.
