Police are searching for an overweight, ‘older’ woman after a bank robbery in Kleinmünchen, Linz.

The woman, described as "corpulent" and between 50 and 65-years-old, fled the Raiffeisen bank on foot after threatening two employees with a handgun and stuffing money into a brown handbag.

She was described as wearing a distinctive white blouse with black polka dots, a blonde wig around which she had wrapped a bright headscarf, and dark sunglasses. She is around 170 metres tall, and presumed to be armed.

Witnesses later described seeing a suspicious looking woman in a blue coat, who got into a blue car and drove off.
