"This is incredible! When she got up on the Eurovision stage in May and stated, 'We are unity, we are unstoppable', she summed up in one emotional moment how we all struggle together for a better, more open world," Stockholm Pride president Sandra Ehne said in a statement.
"And now we have the honour of seeing her on the big stage, during an evening where we will focus on the fight, the fight for human rights. A fight that Conchita fights every day."
Conchita Wurst will open the festival with her winning number from Eurovision, Rise Like a Phoenix.
Stockholm Pride is the largest pride festival in the Nordic nations, and begins on July 28th.
