Lightning strikes four hikers in Upper Austria

According to a police report, four hikers on the Hohen Dachstein in the district of Gmunden were struck by lightning on Friday afternoon.
A rescue operation is underway. The condition of the four is unknown at this time.
Mountain rescue and alpine police are on their way to the scene of the incident.
The rescue operation via helicopter is being hampered by bad weather in the area.
