Armoured van robbed in front of bank

Two robbers attacked an armoured van that was transporting money to a bank in Upper Austria on Monday morning, and made off with the cash.
The van’s driver and his passenger, who were about to take the money into a bank branch in Marchtrenk, were threatened at gunpoint, tied up, and left in the bank.
An automatic alarm was triggered after the armoured van failed to return to its base.
"The investigation is in full swing," police said. No witnesses have come forward as yet.
