The latest suspected victim of a serial attacker is a 13 year old boy, who was bludgeoned from behind and robbed of 10 Euros in a vicious attack on Saturday.

This most recent attack is thought to be the fourth victim.  Since the end of March, three women have been assaulted and robbed in the same way, each being left seriously injured.

The weapon being used is so far unidentified, but is likely made of metal and may be brass knuckles, similar to those pictured below.

Police have now released an artist's impression of the attacker, who is described as a man from 20-25 years of age, with curly hair, between 170-180 cm in height, and wearing dark clothes.  A reward of 5,000 Euros has been offered by the Society of Friends of Viennese Police for information leading to his conviction. Any leads will be treated confidentially, and should be submitted to the State Crime Office of Vienna at the telephone number (01) 31310 extension 33314.
