72 presumed refugees intercepted at border
Tyrolean police intercepted a large group consisting of 72 presumed refugees arriving on a train from Italy on Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, the 72 people originate from Syria and Eritrea, and includes nine children.
The group will be processed and taken care of by the Red Cross, before being sent back across the border to Italy, as required by the Dublin III accords on the treatment of asylum seekers.
