Naked dog walker spotted in Pernitz
After a nude female cyclist raised eyebrows in Pernitz, Lower Austria last week, a naked man has been snapped taking his dog for a walk in the same town.
A reader of the Heute tabloid sent the paper the image and said that the man is well known in the area. It seems that the community of Pernitz may be something of a hub for nudists.
The man who sent the photo in said that the naked dog walker was friendly and respectful, “he walked past, greeted us, and went on his way”.
“He’s also been spotted jogging in the woods, with nothing but trainers on, and even running past children’s playgrounds,” he added.
Although many consider Austrians to be a formal and rather conservative people, there is a flourishing naturist movement in Austria.
As in Germany, the free body culture, called Freikörperkultur, has a large following."FKK" printed on a sign or stencilled on a wall indicates Freikörperkultur, or nudist areas.
